This is the moment a cyclist and a biker that ran her over on a zebra crossing were both hit by a car a short while later.

CCTV images from the county-level city of Heshan in Laibin City in South China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region shows the first accident happening as a female cyclist pushes her bicycle on a zebra crossing.

In the video, the woman, surnamed Wei, is suddenly struck from the right by a speeding scooterist, and both riders are knocked to the ground.

The unnamed scooter rider rushes over to check on the cyclist and stays with the injured woman in the middle of the road instead of moving her to the side.

Less than a minute later, the pair are hit by the approaching hatchback, which knocks them further into the road before stopping.

The hatchback driver, a man surnamed Lan, then rushes out to check on the victims before calling the police.

Authorities say the two riders suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.

The accident is still being investigated, with no punishment announced for any of the parties involved thus far.
