This is the moment two factions from Serbian giants Partizan Belgrade have a brutal fight during the local basketball derby.

The incident occurred during the Adriatic Basketball Association (ABA) derby match between Belgrade clubs Red Star and Partizan at the Belgrade Arena on Sunday 17th November.

The match resulted in a narrow 75-72 victory for Partizan however a brawl broke out between two factions of the winning side’s fans during the second quarter.

The video shows the moment several fans wearing white and black shirts brutally throw punches at each other as they converge to the centre of the stands starting a mass brawl.

Several fans can be seen jumping over the railing to enter the fight and a fan wearing a torn black shirt is seen emerging from the brawl moments before exchanging punches with another fan.

At one point, a fan wearing a white shirt jumps into the press box as he tries to kick a rival while hanging off glass protection.

The fight was stopped several minutes after it started as the local police can be seen entering the stands from both sides as the fighters flee from the area.

There have been no reports of arrests or serious injuries. It is unclear what started the fight.

Local media report the fight was not broadcast on television as it happened right under the press box where some cameras were located.

The clash between the two Belgrade clubs continued with no further incidents as Partizan narrowly won the match after defensive mistakes by Red Star down the stretch of the match.

The Partizan victory places them 5th in the ABA League with five wins and Red Star are 6th with four.
