These are the haunting last moments of a paraglider before he died when he plunged to the ground with a sickening crunch.
Reginaldo Aparecido de Franca crashed to earth at a park in Paulinia, Brazil, moments after he filmed this video in mid-air on 25th January.
He was practising paramotoring – also known as powered paragliding – which is similar to paragliding but with a motor attached to the pilot.
As he hit the ground, Reginaldo, 39, suffered multiple fractures and went into cardiac arrest.
A cardiologist who had just happened to be nearby at the time rushed over to him and gave him first aid.
An ambulance took Reginaldo to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
He was born in Valinhos, lived in Campinas, and worked as a nurse technician.
He leaves behind a wife and two children.
Police will investigate the cause of the crash, but witnesses reportedly told police that Reginaldo shouted for help while still in mid-air, suggesting equipment failure.
