An alleged paedophile who reportedly called himself “Argentina’s Jeffrey Epstein” has been arrested for raping young girls and filming it as well as offering his victims to other men.

The suspect, named in local media as Alejandro Blanc Pardo, 45, was a wealthy property owner who also owned a motorcycle dealership and a supermarket in the town of Haedo in Buenos Aires Province in eastern Argentina.

Dubbed the “paedophile with the red chair” by local media because of two bright red armchairs that reportedly appear in numerous videos he filmed, the suspect allegedly lured young girls with poor backgrounds before raping them and filming his crimes, later sharing the footage online.

The authorities began investigating the suspect when a 19-year-old girl filed a complaint against the man for sexual abuse when she was 14 and this led investigators to arresting the suspect. It reportedly took the victim four years to build up the courage to file a complaint.

The suspect stands accused of human trafficking and of corrupting minors.

Local media reports that he referred to himself online as “Argentina’s Jeffrey Epstein”.

He was detained after an order was issued by local prosecutor Lorena Pecorelli, Assistant Prosecutor for Crimes Related to Human Trafficking, Child Pornography and Grooming.

The suspect had already been sentenced to 3 years in prison in 2017 for sexual abuse.

His partner Virginia L., 46, was also briefly detained but was released a few hours later.

She is suspected of having helped the suspect find and groom his alleged victims, not unlike Ghislaine Maxwell is accused of doing for Jeffrey Epstein.

The victim who filed the first complaint was 14 years old at the time of the alleged sexual abuse and the suspect, who she knew as “Ale”, hired her to hand out flyers for a motorcycle agency.

Local media report that he allegedly groomed her into having sex with him, filming the intercourse and sharing the footage on pornographic websites without the victim’s knowledge.

Soon, he allegedly began asking that she bring her friends over, who were also minors. He allegedly groomed them too, notably by taking them out to fancy restaurants and giving them gifts.

He reportedly owns multiple properties and at one home, he allegedly organised meetings where he and other men would rape the minors.

It is also alleged that he set up a film set at one of the locations so that he could film the minors having sex with him and other people. And at one of the homes, police found firearms and ammunition.

Investigators discovered that the couple was often seen at primary and secondary schools, as well as sports clubs, and that they had adverts online on social media offering jobs to distribute flyers.

The cops believe that the only purpose of these adverts was to attract minors from poor backgrounds in a bid to groom them.

The authorities also allegedly found evidence online of the suspect bragging about how his victims would obey him completely and that he would slap them.
