This is the moment a turning lorry crashes into a passing minibus sending the passenger vehicle rolling onto its side in a cloud of dust and leaving 18 people injured.

The startling incident occurred in the Yahyali district of Kayseri province of central Turkey as a minibus transporting workers being driven by a man identified in reports as S.O. crashed into a lorry.

In the video, the lorry, being driven by a man named in reports as M.K., can be seen turning left but as the driver begins the manoeuvre a minibus comes overtaking on the inside.

The front of both vehicles collide and the minibus rolls onto its side in a huge dust cloud. The lorry is sent spinning away and ends up off the road as onlookers come rushing to the scene.

Local media report several ambulances were called to the scene and they took the injured victims to nearby hospitals.

The drivers of both vehicles were injured along with 13 passengers in the minibus and three passengers in the lorry.

One of the victims, who has not been named, is reportedly in a critical condition fighting for their life.

A police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
