Police in Ecuador have seized an OnlyFans star for alleged child pornography offences possibly involving her own cousin.
Adult content creator Luisa Espinoza and two other suspects were arrested in a National Police operation on 28th February.
The Attorney General’s Office said in a statement obtained by Newsflash on 1st March: “Early this morning, a judge accepted the Attorney General’s Office’s request and ordered preventive detention for Luisa Stefania E. P., Ydris Ivonne M. C., and Samuel Ch. V. for alleged commercialisation of pornography involving the use of children and adolescents.
“They were arrested early yesterday morning in raids carried out in Guayaquil and Daule, during which electronic devices, filming equipment, and around 10,000 videos with explicit images of minors engaged in sexual acts were seized.”
At the time of writing, Espinoza, 26, was still active on OnlyFans, where she goes by the nickname La Vampira (Vampire Woman) and charges subscribers USD 30 (GBP 25) per month for access to her adult content.
The accusations are believed to relate to an X-rated video allegedly of Espinoza and minors from December.
Journalist Luis Antonio Ruiz tweeted: “Luisa Espinoza, who last December uploaded a video allowing underage students to touch her breasts, along with three other ‘influencers’, were arrested as suspects of being part of a child pornography network. They are awaiting the filing of charges.”
Local media also reported that “an intimate video with her cousin was leaked”.
If convicted of child pornography offences, she could face between 13 and 16 years behind bars.
Her sentence could reach 26 years if any of the minors in question are found to be related to her.
Local media believe that the other two suspects filmed and edited the material Espinoza produced.
The National Deputy Director of Investigation against Gender Violence of the Police, Jorge Borja, accuses Espinoza of grooming minors via social media.
Borja explained that the operation was carried out in collaboration with the National Police’s US counterparts because “many of the videos were shared with people from other countries”.
