A mum and daughter are engaged in a tug of love battle for the same man after he dumped the younger woman in order to live with the older, age 75.

Older woman Galina Zhukovskaya is originally from the St Petersburg city in the western Russian region of Leningrad Oblast.

She married her daughter’s ex-husband back in 2010 after developing a friendship with him when she says her daughter cheated on him, forcing him to leave his family.

But jealous Zhukovskaya is now complaining that her daughter, Elena Podgornaya, 56, is trying to get her ex-husband, Vyacheslav Zhukovsky, 52, to return.

Galina said that her daughter had not been lucky in love and had not managed to find anybody new, and was jealous of her mother’s success with her ex-husband and was trying to lure him back because she was bored.

Contacted by Russian newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda, Zhukovkaya reported that the daughter’s tricks included even sending her granddaughter to try and seduce her husband.

She told the paper: “She wants us to separate. She often sends her 30-years old daughter, born from another man, to get intimate with him.”

The older woman has as well revealed that her relatives have been keen to cash in by inheriting her apartment when she died, but with her officially married to Vyacheslav, that would not be possible as he is now her air.

Zhukovskaa continued: “My daughter is probably jealous that mom is not alone. I have someone to talk to and she doesn’t. But he won’t get back to her. She cheated on him too much.”

Galina married her son-in-law back in 2010 when Vyacheslav decided to leave her daughter due to allegations of infidelity.

When Elena, demanded that he leave the marital home, her mother offered Vyacheslav a place to stay and that resulted in a love match which ended in marriage.

Vyacheslav met Elena while serving time in jail for murdering his former employer for not paying him his wage when he worked as a sailor.

The man wrote a letter to local newspaper about the fact he was willing to meet a woman for future relations and Elena took him up on the offer. She waited for his release for three years and married him in 2010, but the same year they separated.

The 52-year-old man meanwhile said: “I am sure we won’t separate with her (Galina) because she won’t cheat on me. I love my wife”

According to the man, several years ago they wanted to have their own kid but the surrogate mother, whom they contacted, lied to them and disappeared after was paid one million RUB (11,200 GBP) for her services.

The couple decided then to pass on their idea and are currently living a happy family life, despite the fact that most of Galina’s relatives turned their backs on the woman for marrying son-in-law, reports Komsomolskaya Pravda.
