The ex-husband of this beautiful nurse technician has been arrested for breaking into her home while high on drugs and stabbing her repeatedly in the neck as she slept on the sofa.

Ivanir Rodrigues Antunes, 35, was stabbed to death as she slept on the sofa at her home in the neighbourhood of Geasone in the Brazilian municipality of Maracaju on 5th February.

Her ex-husband, 30-year-old Elton Machado Franco, has already “confessed coldly” to committing the crime, according to the police.

The police have revealed that the suspect broke into his ex’ house, found her sleeping on the sofa, and stabbed her repeatedly in the neck.

He then went into a bedroom where he woke up a sleeping couple and said that he killed Ivanir and “had nothing against them”, according to local media.

Then, as the couple called the police, he reportedly returned to the living room, stabbed his ex again, jumped the wall of the property, and fled in his car.

When the emergency services arrived at the property, Ivanir was already dead.

The suspect was arrested as he drove into the neighbouring municipality of Sidrolania along with a friend who was also arrested.

Elton, who already has a criminal record for murder, told the police that he was high on drugs at the time, according to local media.

The victim had taken no protective measures against the suspect and had not reported him for anything in the past.

According to local media, the pair had been married for 10 years and separated five months ago.

The suspect remains under arrest as the investigation continues.
