This footage shows a man picking his nose and then spitting on the floor of a busy train carriage before rubbing it in with his foot despite the demand for extra hygiene during the coronavirus outbreak.

The incident happened on a Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTM) train from Seremban, a city and the capital of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan, a station in country’s capital, Kuala Lumpur.

KTM which is also known as Malayan Railways Limited is the main rail operator in the country and has recently announced tough restrictions on the use of its services including only allowing locals to use certain trains crossing borders into neighbouring countries.

In the clip, the man can be seen picking his nose, rubbing his face before stretching and spitting on the floor of the carriage before rubbing it in with his foot.

The footage comes as the killer COVID-19 virus spreads around Malaysia and across the world.

The footage was posted by netizen ‘Nis’ on their Twitter profile.

They wrote: “This uncle kept spitting, it’s been 3 times now until my man managed to record for observation, the spread of the coronavirus.”

Meanwhile another netizen claimed that this is not the first bad behaviour witnessed from the passenger.

One wrote: “Weyh, this is the same uncle, he spat in front of me and my friends on the KTM. He even chased us and the other passengers in the KTM to the other coaches. It’s dangerous, he spat 2 to 3 times, it could spread the coronavirus.”

The train company has since promised to sanitise their trains following the incident.

It is unclear whether the man is carrying the Coronavirus.
