This is the moment people stand by and watch without helping as a distressed motorist falls out of his car and flails around in a suspected epileptic fit.

The scene took place in the southern Russian city of Novosibirsk in the Novosibirsk Oblast region where people simply stood around and watched the man as he waved his arms backwards and forwards.

There also appears to be a woman in the passenger seat who seems to completely ignore the suffering driver.

The footage was shot on the city’s Krasny Avenue after an accident in which a Nissan Tida hatchback struck a Toyota Prado SUV in the rear.

According to the eyewitnesses both the vehicles suffered minor damage before the hatchback driver opened his car door and toppled onto the floor while flailing around and being violently sick.

But instead of trying to help him, onlookers stood around filming with the images later posted online. As well as flailing his arms he could be heard whining and groaning.

The clip, shared by the local ‘ACT-54’ social media group, noted that the passenger appeared to have been either drunk or drugged and the person filming the video even runs up to the woman asking: “What has he consumed?” to which she replies: “I don’t know”.

Witnesses claimed that as far as they were concerned the police had already been, investigated the circumstances and then left the scene without attending to the driver.

There were no reports as to what was wrong with him or his current state of health, with some suspecting he was suffering an epileptic attack and others saying he was clearly a drug user.

Netizen named ‘Olga Ivanova’ said: “He could have had an epileptic attack. I was once rammed by a driver like this on a pedestrian crossing, we called the ambulance who confirmed he had suffered an epileptic attack.”
