NO COMMERCIAL BREAK, PLEASE: Angry Tot Who Wanted Cartoons Back On Got Fed Up With Adverts And Threw Hammer At TV

This is the moment a little boy takes a serious disliking to the commercials interrupting his cartoon and throws a hammer at the TV, smashing the screen.

The unnamed boy’s wild protest was caught by an at-home surveillance camera in Anshan, a city in the north-eastern Chinese province of Liaoning on 24th November.

The footage shows the toddler sitting down on the couch and watching cartoons when a sudden commercial pops up on the screen.

This appears to make the tot extremely annoyed and throws a plastic toy hammer at the TV, presumably thinking that would switch his favourite programme back on.

And the kid throws the hammer with such force that it instantly breaks part of the TV screen, causing it to turn black.

Unaware of the damage, the boy turns his back on the television in apparent disappointment that the commercial was still playing.

But his anger quickly goes out as the cartoon eventually returns and he sits back down in his spot.

The video of the boy’s unexpected outburst was shared on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok.

Most netizens agreed that the child should be scolded for his actions, to avoid a similar thing from happening in the future.

And one user ‘CN, Lin Zi’ said: “Luckily, the hammer didn’t bounce back.”

While user ‘Huang Xiaohua is a pineapple lover’ poked fun at the situation and said: “Please post the video of the child being beaten, many people want to watch it.”
