This beautiful actress from the Netflix smash hit ‘Money Heist’ has temporarily quit acting to help out at a Madrid hospital as a nurse during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Clara Alvarado, 29, known for her role as Ariadna Cascales in the Spanish Netflix hit ‘La casa de papel’ (‘Money Heist’), reportedly graduated as a nurse when she was younger but never worked in the position until several days ago.

When Spain started experiencing an alarming rate of COVID-19 cases and the country went into lockdown, Alvarado contacted a friend about lending a hand as a nurse.

A few days later and she signed a contract to help out at a hospital on the outskirts of the Spanish capital Madrid, according to reports.

The actress said: “I wanted to work in a place where I could be useful, not in a crowded intensive care unit where my lack of experience could be a problem.

“Yes, there is a lack of staff and resources here. For example, there are not enough face masks, hats or protective clothing.”

“I go into the hospital better than I leave it, I cannot lie. I often leave feeling low as the situation can appear out of control at times and I’m not always able to do my work as I would like to.”

In the future, the actress and qualified nurse said she would like to combine both her jobs if possible.
