Mum Pummels Cyclist With Brolly After He Rams And Flips Pram With One-Year-Old Tot In It

This is the moment a distraught mother pummels a deliveryman with her brolly after he cycles straight into her pram with her one-year-old child in it and flips it over into the road.

The incident was filmed by the dash-cam of a motorist in the Russian capital Moscow on 23rd September.

In the footage, a woman is seen pushing her pram on a street crossing before reaching the pavement on the other side as a motorist’s dash-cam films the scene at a red light.

A speeding cyclist, 21, suddenly appears on the pavement and rams the front of the pram, sending the courier and the one-year-old tot tumbling into the street where luckily the light is still red and the traffic is stationary.

The mother then pummels the food deliveryman with her umbrella before checking on her young child in the pram.

A woman runs across the street to help the mother lift the overturned pram and apparently gives the courier a slap.

Meanwhile, the 21-year-old man also helps the two women with the pram and appears apologetic, at one point placing his bike against a pole to assist them.

However, one report in the news site Life said the deliveryman tried to flee the scene three times and needed to be restrained by a passerby until the cops came.

Ren TV, on the other hand, said the courier remained at the scene until the police arrived and was cooperative, as he appears in the footage immediately after the incident.

The police have confirmed that they are investigating the matter.

Meanwhile, Yandex.Eats, the company the courier works for, announced that they are “shocked by the incident” and that the worker “now has limited access to service orders”, adding that they are working with the local authorities to “sort out the situation”.

Local media said the one-year-old child was taken to hospital and released soon afterwards. Ren TV said the infant suffered a lip injury.
