Mum-Of-3 Shocked To Find Long Venomous Snake In Kids Pedal Car In Living Room

Firemen in Brazil have removed a long venomous vine snake from a toy car in a family’s living room.

A mum-of-three got the shock of her life when she found the 3.3-foot (1 metre) long snake in her home in the Brazilian municipality of Guaxupe on 17th February.

The woman called the fire brigade after she stumbled upon the long green-coloured snake in the wheel of a toy car belonging to one of her young children.

Firemen came to the scene wearing protective gear and used a long pole with a gripper to remove the venomous snake, later releasing it in the nearby woods.

Luckily, none of the woman’s kids, who are aged between 18 months and three years old, were bitten by the snake.

The snake (Philodryas olfersii) is endemic to South America and the species is reported to have killed at least one human.
