A tender snap shows Becker, 55, and mum Elvira, 87, grinning widely as they enjoyed their time together following the star’s 231-day stint behind bars.

The long-awaited reunion took place at Elvira’s home in Leimen, Germany, on 21st December.

Becker, along with his partner Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro, was spotted by photographers turning up at his mum’s house for the first time since his release from jail.

He is believed to be seeing her a second time over the weekend and reportedly hopes to spend Christmas with her too.

Elvira had previously told German media: “We’ve always got along well. No matter what happens – he is and will always be my son.”

Boris Becker won six grand slams during his stellar tennis career, which saw him ranked number-one player in the world.

However, he hit rock bottom in April this year when UK courts handed him two and a half years in prison for hiding assets during his bankruptcy.

He was released early on 15th December having served just eight months and was immediately deported to his home country.
