A brute accused over the killings of a mum and her teenage daughter was trying to hide that he had been raping the girl since she was 11, say police.

Officers seized evil Wilson de Jesus Farias, 35, in the Brazilian municipality of Campo Largo on 7th March.

He is accused of involvement in the cold-blooded murders of mum Daniele Richalski Favaro, 41, and her daughter, 17-year-old Emilyn Richalski Tracz.

The crime took place inside the living room of Daniele’s home in Campo Largo early on 12th January.

Farias, say new reports, was Emilyn’s godfather.

Emilyn and her mum were shot multiple times in the bloodbath.

Police chief Ademair Braga told local media: “All of this was caused by sexual violence committed by the perpetrator, which began when the killed teenager was still a child.

“The perpetrator was the killed teenager’s godfather. He was someone trusted by the family, and by taking advantage of that, he committed several crimes against this teenager.

“When I say several crimes, it’s because he sexually assaulted her on more than one occasion.”

Investigators believe Farias decided to take action after Emilyn told him in a series of messages that she was going to tell her family about the rapes.

Three days before the crime, she is believed to have travelled from her home in the municipality of Fazenda Rio Grande to her mother’s house, where she revealed all.

The next day, Daniele, according to reports, went to confront Farias.

Two days later, say police, he and two accomplices went to her home, allegedly to look for mobile phones containing evidence of the rapes.

Investigators do not believe Farias himself broke into the property but say he helped his accomplices flee.

Police chief Braga said: “To cover up the rape, he ended up trying to gather evidence, primarily the victims’ mobile phones.

“Witnesses close to the scene report that they arrived and asked for the mobile phones. When they said they didn’t have them, they were shot multiple times.”

During Farias’s arrest, police seized three firearms from his residence, one of which, say forensic experts, was used to carry out the killings.

Investigators are now working to identify his accomplices.

Earlier reports told how Emilyn was stabbed repeatedly and had her arm broken before she and her mum were made to kneel and both were shot in the back of the head.

Earlier reports also told how Daniele’s husband fled through a window and two young nieces, who were staying over at the time, survived the bloodbath by hiding in a bathroom.
