This glamourous mum and her boyfriend have been arrested for torturing her seven-year-old son and throwing him in a lake where he was left for dead.
Following the alleged murder attempt in the eastern Turkish province of Van, the young victim, identified as Omer Yusuf A., said: “They bit me. I have scars all over my body, they hurt a lot.
“They then threw me in the lake and I survived by swimming hard.”

According to reports, the seven-year-old boy, who normally lives with his dad Emrah A., was spending a part of his summer holidays with his mum, a primary school teacher identified as Ayla K.
A few days after leaving, Emrah A. was informed that his son had been found on the banks of Lake Van and taken to a nearby police station.
When the father learned that his ex-wife and her boyfriend, identified as Inan K., had allegedly tortured the boy and left him for dead in the lake, he filed a complaint with the public prosecutor’s office.
Emrah A. claimed that his son’s hand had been pierced with an electric drill and bitten on several parts of his body.
He also said that the couple threw him in Lake Van, but luckily his son is a good swimmer.
According to local media, the father also filed a complaint against the local police who he accused of neglecting the case.
The suspects were arrested and referred to court where they were found guilty and sent to jail.
In the Turkish legal system, suspects appear in court shortly after arrest and a verdict is often reached very quickly although sentencing can take longer.
