This is the amusing moment a nursery school kid drops a mouse onto the floor, terrifying his two teachers, with one rapidly moving her feet to stop it climbing up her leg – and the second trying to climb onto the first teacher’s back.

Meanwhile, the kids look bemused at what is going on, not least of all because many of them may not have seen that the little lad had the mouse in his schoolbag.

The security camera, which was filming the incident in the prefecture-level city of Yibin in the southeastern part of China’s Sichuan Province shows a peaceful scene as children are seen seated on either side of two rows of benches. The teachers are almost off-camera on the bottom right of the images.

A little lad in a red coat appears to have just arrived at the nursery, and he is seen taking items out of his bag, but as he pulls out one object, the mouse, which was apparently clinging onto the object, drops onto the floor and then scampers over to a shelf on the other side of the room.

This horrifies the two female teachers, with one of them stomping her feet up and down to prevent the mouse from running up her leg, and the other comically clinging onto the other’s back so she can be carried out of the classroom and away from the equally terrified mouse.

It is unclear if the boy knew that he had the mouse in his bag and it is also unclear if it was a pet or a wild mouse that had gone into the bag in search of food.
