Mothers Instinct Saves Baby From Falling Off Bed In Nick Of Time After Sister Puts Him Down Too Close To Edge And He Rolls Off

This footage shows a mother’s lightning-fast reflexes after her daughter put her baby brother down on a bed too close to the edge and the infant rolled off.

In the footage, the mother can be seen rushing over to the baby as he tumbles off the bed and she appears to catch the tot before his head can hit the floor.

The incident took place in the city of Fuyang, which is located in eastern China’s Anhui province, on 8th March. The images were shared online two days later.

The footage shows the baby’s sister, reportedly aged 10, precariously placing the infant on the bed while the mother has her back turned.

The 10-year-old sister then leaves the room, and the baby rolls over onto his right side. Just as he falls off the bed, his mother turns around and sees what is about to happen. She rushes over in a split second and grabs her child by the scruff of his neck.

She appears to reach him in time, avoiding the tot, named only as Yibao, from banging his little head on the hard floor.

The mother then appears to berate the sister as the footage ends. The footage was shared online, where it quickly made the rounds on Chinese social media.

The mother, who has not been named, was praised for her “maternal instincts”. The baby is not thought to have been injured in the incident.
