Police in Uruguay have seized a brute who killed his half-sister and her young son, chopped up their bodies, and buried their remains after she refused to let him ride her motorbike.

Evil Jorge Daniel Lara Rios is charged with the aggravated double homicide of his paternal half-sister, Giuliana Lara Rios, and her son, eight-year-old Mateo Minos, according to police in Paysandu Department.

Their remains were found inside waste sacks in a field near the Uruguay River.

The victims had been missing since 31st January, with the half-siblings’ father reporting their disappearance to police.

Their bodies were found with the help of sniffer dogs.

Investigators suspect Lara Rios first killed Giuliana at the home they shared.

Then, they believe, he took Mateo by motorbike to the place where both bodies were later found and killed him.

CCTV footage seen by investigators shows him leaving the family home with the schoolboy early on 31st January before returning with only his rucksack.

Chillingly, a worker at a local store told how Lara Rios had come in and said to him: “Give me the biggest rubbish bags you have.”

And he incriminated himself further by asking a neighbour if he could borrow a shovel on the night of the crime.

Police say both of his victims’ bodies were mutilated.

After returning home, Lara Rios cleaned the house, but investigators still found traces of blood inside.

Giuliana had never reported her half-brother to authorities. However, he reportedly has a history of violence against a former partner.

He exercised his right to remain silent at a recent court hearing in Paysandu.

The motive for the crime remains unclear, but locals told how Giuliana had bought a motorbike at the end of 2022.

Lara Rios, they said, had constantly pestered her to let him use it but had been knocked back every time.

He is remanded in custody as investigations continue.
