MOO-VE IT: Mother Cow Breaks Woman’s Tailbone Protecting Calf

This is the moment a woman in northeast China gets her orders to butt out – after an angry mother cow fractures her coccyx protecting her calf.

CCTV of the attack shows the woman – named as Ms Guo in local media – walking through her farmyard in Jinzhou, Liaoning Province on 7th January.

But as she gets too close, the cow rams her with her horns knocking her to the ground.

She is only saved from a worse battering – reported local media – when her mother-in-law steps in and drives off the feisty heifer with a plank of wood.

Ms Guo said later that her legs and abdomen were bruised, and her tailbone was broken as a result of the attack.

She is now resting at home and said she is planning on selling her cow along with her newborn once it grows a little older.

The lucky survivor later posted the video on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok.

Netizens praised the mother-in-law for her fast acting.

User ‘old lady at the airport’ said: “Your mother-in-law saved you, I hope you will never forget your mother-in-law’s kindness in your life.”
