Moment Wild Boar Attacks Kindhearted Man Who Helped It Out Of Canal

This is the moment a wild boar attacks a cyclist and apparently knocks him into a canal after he stops to help the animal out of the fast-moving water.

Two cyclists were pedalling along the side of the canal when they noticed the wild boar being swept along by the current.

They did not hesitate to help the wild animal. However, once on dry land, it reportedly bit one of the cyclist’s legs and knocked him into the canal for his kindhearted efforts.

In the footage, filmed in an unspecified location in Spain, the two cyclists are seen calling over the boar as it drifts along the fast-moving canal on a sunny day.

Intrigued, the boar apparently paddles over to their direction and clambers onto the wooden ramp they are standing on.

The filming cyclist then pans away from the boar and misses it immediately attacking him and apparently sending him into the water.

The cameraman’s friend is seen trying to calm down the animal as he hoists himself back onto dry land.

According to the news site La Sexta, the cyclists’ efforts ended with the boar back in the canal and one of them nursing a bitten leg.

It is unclear if the injured cyclist needed medical attention afterwards.
