This is the moment gunmen pull up outside a house and start firing at three men as a three-year-old boy desperately clambers over a wall to escape the rain of bullets.

The video of the suspected assassins firing their guns in the presence of a three-year-old boy was captured in the city of San Luis Rio Colorado in the Mexican state of Sonora on Saturday (28th August).

The CCTV footage shows the gunmen pulling up outside a house and taking aim at a group of unidentified men.

The men, sat outside what is believed to be their house, jump to their feet and sprint inside without even glancing at the boy playing nearby.

The young lad notices he is in danger as gunshots whizz overhead and climbs over a small wall before running as fast as he can into the house.

The local authorities were called to the scene after the incident and found that three people had been shot, but survived after receiving medical treatment.

It is unclear why the gang targeted the group of men, and whether they knew the boy in the footage.

The child was not injured in the incident and the three men are still being treated for gunshot wounds in hospital.
