This is the moment a haulage truck is pulled out of a lake after the earth under its wheels collapsed and the huge slipped into the water.
The BelAZ 75710 haulage truck, one of the largest in the world, fell into the lake at a gravel pit near the city of Vitebsk in north-eastern Belarus.
According to local media, the lorry fell into the water after the soil beneath is rear wheels collapsed.
To pull the vehicle back to the side of the lake, a rescue team needed to use an excavator, several bulldozers and even a walking excavator.
Reports said that divers had to attach several ropes to the submerged vehicle so that the walking excavator was able to pull it from the lake bed.
Local media did not mention how long the operation lasted or how the haulage truck was left underwater.
The gravel pit has one of Belarus’ largest dolomite deposits and it was first excavated in the 1930s.
Vitebsk is the fourth-largest city in Belarus, which was completely rebuilt following World War II.
It is a major industrial centre, which specialises in machinery, and light industry and manufacturing machine tools.
