This is the moment a cyclist ventures out into the road just as a speeding car approaches and slams into him reportedly killing the man on the spot.
The incident was filmed by a home CCTV camera in Futog in the city of Novi Sad in the northern Serbian autonomous province of Vojvodina when the unnamed cyclist tried to join a main road.
In the footage, the man is seen riding his bike along a side street that joins a main road.
He appears to wait for one car to pass before pedalling into the road with the intention of turning right.
However, a car approaches in the other direction that appears to be speeding over the limit and the cyclist fails to spot it.
By the time the cyclist is in the middle of the road, the speeding car ventures into the other lane to avoid him but instead they collide.
The man and his bicycle are sent flying through the air before crashing on the tarmac.
It is unclear whether the speeding motorist stopped at the scene.
According to local media, the cyclist died at the scene.
The local authorities in Vojvodina have yet to comment on the incident.
