The footage shows a police officer apparently working with a vehicle removal employee after a pickup truck, which can be seen on the back of a flatbed lorry, appeared to have had an accident.

All of a sudden, an SUV can be seen coming towards the police officer and the worker at speed.

The police officer warns the worker, telling him to “watch out” as both he and the worker leap out of the way, avoiding the SUV by inches as it crashes into the police car from which the scene is being filmed on a dash cam.

The police car slowly goes backwards as a result of being hit by the SUV as the footage ends.

Neither the police officer nor the worker, who have not been named, were injured in the incident, with the police sharing the footage online to warn people about driving safely on slippery roads.

The person in the SUV has not been named either, and it is unclear if the motorist faces any charges. It is currently unclear if the SUV driver suffered any injuries in the incident.
