This is the cheeky moment pop star Ricky Martin steals a kiss on the lips from a male presenter on stage during a music festival in Chile.

The 48-year-old Puerto Rican singer was the headlining act of the Vina del Mar music festival in the central Chilean coastal resort of the same name.

In the footage, the ‘Livin’ la Vida Loca’ star is seen stealing a kiss from male host Martin Caramo.

The female host Maria Luisa Godoy said: “Ricky, can I ask for a favour? For all Chilean women, may I kiss you here (cheek) while Martin does the same for men?”

Martin agreed, but when it came to the cheek-kisses, he turned his head to steal a smacker on the lips from the male presenter.

The audience and trio on stage then burst into laughter.

Martin Caramo shared the footage on social media with the message: “Ricky Martin, a man with many surprises.”

During the music festival, which was reportedly marred by anti-government protests against President Sebastian Pinera, Martin was also presented with two awards.

In response to the protests, Martin told local media that they are “important” for the people.

He added: “We should let our leaders know what it is we need and always do it in an orderly manner.

“Let’s hope Chile acts like a domino effect for other parts of the world where the people also need to be heard.”

The ‘She Bangs’ star publicly came out as gay on his official website in March 2010, stating: “I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am.

“These years in silence and reflection made me stronger and reminded me that acceptance has to come from within, and that this kind of truth gives me the power to conquer emotions I didn’t even know existed.”
