This is the moment a prankster puts his unsuspecting friend in a headlock but is left stunned when his pal then sends him flying over his shoulder.

The incident took place at a hotel in the city of Zhengzhou, which is located in Henan Province in central China, on 23rd September when the unnamed ‘attacker’ spotted his friend waiting at reception in what appears to be a hotel lobby in the footage.

As seen in the clip, he sneaks up on his pal and puts him in a headlock.

His friend, named in local media reports as Mr Wang, stays calm and quietly puts his mobile phone away before suddenly taking a step forwards, grabbing his would-be attacker’s arm, and sending him flying over his shoulder in one swift move.

The man lands hard on the hotel lobby floor with a stunned look on his face.

Mr Wang, recognising his friend, helps him to his feet as the ‘attacker’ still has a shocked look on his face.

Neither party are thought to have been injured in the incident.
