The cameraman says: “Today, 26th (March), we are in the Hospital del Mar on the fourth floor in room 428 with one of the nicest nurses here.”

Meanwhile, the nurse says on the phone: “Hi Jose? I am the nurse with your father and we would like to do a video call with him so you can see him.

“Can you see? Jose, say hi. This is your son.”

A voice on the other end of the call says: “Hi dad.”

The cameraman remarks: “He is very happy seeing his son. So beautiful.”

Meanwhile, the nurse says: “Look at him, he is breathing well without the machine. He is only wearing the mask now.”

The nurse then bids Jose farewell and mentions they will make another call at the same time tomorrow.

The Association of Doctors in Galicia said in a tweet: “This highlights the love and effort hospital workers are dealing with during this difficult situation.”

As of 30th March, Spain has reported 85,195 cases of COVID-19 and 7,340 related deaths, according to the latest data from the Johns Hopkins University.

Meanwhile, 16,780 people have made full recoveries.
