This is the shocking moment a heavyset gunman shoots dead two cafe workers because they reportedly failed to pay rent.
The incident was filmed in the town of Xul-Ha in the southern Mexican state of Quintana Roo and the footage was later widely shared on social media.
In the video, an angry man in a blue top enters the cafe and starts arguing with a worker in a black vest and a female colleague.
At one point, the burly man even pushes the heavyset cafe worker before the scene cuts.
In the next scene, two men are seen talking outside the cafe as the worker in the black vest stands nearby.
The gunman in the blue top suddenly fires at the heavyset worker three times, including an apparent headshot.
He then struts outside and shoots one of the other men in the head and then repeats it once again while he is lying on the ground.
The two victims have been identified as cafe workers Berzain Hernandez and Eliezer H. The ages of the victims have not been reported.
According to local media, the argument started because the suspect demanded rent money.
The local authorities have confirmed they are investigating the double murder, although no arrests have taken place yet.
