Moment Man Gives Life-Saving Water To Collapsed Camel In Sweltering Saharan Sun

This is the moment an man gives water to a dehydrated camel struggling in the sweltering Saharan sun.

A video of the Algerian man offering water to an exhausted camel was shared on Facebook by netizen ‘Ahmed Al-Baydi’ on 6th July.

The animal, which appeared dehydrated and worn out due to extreme temperatures, was kneeling by the roadside in the middle of the Sahara Desert when a man approached it and gave it water from a plastic bottle.

According to local media, the man was passing in a tanker when he spotted the poor animal and decided to give it some cold water to help it recover.

The video shows the thirsty camel glugging the water as soon as the man opens the bottle.

Algerian Facebook user ‘Abou Abdelhak Abdelhak’ said: “May God grant him the best reward and a long life.”

Netizen ‘Mohammed Al-Darsi’ from Libya said: “God bless you, good man!”

Extreme temperatures of over 60 degrees Centigrade have shaken Algeria in the last few days.

Additionally, the city of Ouargla which is located in the east-central part of the country entered the list of cities around the world with the highest recorded temperatures in July.
