A woman from New South Wales has filmed a lightning bolt split through a double rainbow.

Kerry Furner was filming with her daughter in New South Wales, Australia, when the bolt flashed across the double rainbow after a storm on Wednesday, 23rd September.

The pair were out in the garden filming the double rainbow when the ‘magic’ bolt hit just as Kerry’s daughter told her to look out for it.

Mrs Furner said: “This is the first time I have seen a double rainbow with a lightning bolt in middle. It was perfect timing!”
