This is the moment a vet is secretly filmed kicking and trying to crush a neighbour’s dog between a wheelie bin and a fence.
The incident dates back to 28th November 2019 when a neighbour filmed the unnamed vet beating the dog in Vironvay in the northern French department of Eure but the footage has only just been shared online.
However, after escaping punishment at the time, the man was arrested again last week after the footage was widely shared on social media and a new complaint was filed by the dog’s owner.
In a post shared on Facebook by ‘Association Stephane LAMART’ last week, the video has been viewed 250,000 times and received nearly 10,000 comments.
The footage was filmed by an unnamed neighbour from the window of their home.
An eyewitness told local media: “He hit the dog with incredible force. The animal managed to hide between a fence and wheelie bin, but the vet pushed the bin against the fence, trapping and crushing it.”
At the time of the incident, the Brigitte Bardot Foundation filed a complaint against the vet, but he was released for lack of evidence, according to reports.
This time, animal rights activists and the dog’s owner filed a new complaint and the suspect has been arrested with an investigation now underway, according to local media.
The probe is ongoing.
