This is the moment Sir Tomato the chubby hamster from Manchester repeatedly wiggles his furry bum and he tries to get in and out of a green toy he has always been “obsessed” with.
At one point, he seems to be struggling so hard that he poos a bit.
The clip was posted on the Instagram account ‘Cheese the fat hamster’, which boasts 144,000 followers, by the pet’s owner who lives in Manchester in the UK.

The owner accompanied the video with the message: “Day 73 of UK kind of lockdown, but not really.
“Other than being a round boy, Sir Tomato was always obsessed with this green thing.”
In the footage, the chubby hamster’s furry bum is seen pointing at the camera as it tries to climb out of its beloved green toy.
In another scene, Sir Tomato poops on the surface several times as it tries to climb back inside the hole in its toy.
At the end of the video, the chubby fellow sniffs the air around its toy and then appears to slip off the ledge.
The Instagram poster also clarified: “I never intend to do any harm to my pets and never joke about their health and safety. I never force them to do anything they don’t want to, only if my action is going to save their lives.
“Animal abuse or cruelty is not some allegation anyone should force upon anyone else without solid proof or evidence in real life. Please think twice before making such statement.”
