This is the moment a businessman brutally attacks his beautiful influencer ex-wife 23 years his junior on the street while holding their son in his arms.
Socrates Monteiro Porto, 54, was arrested following the incident, which took place in the town of Joao Pinheiro in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais on 29th November.
The victim was his ex-wife, 31-year-old influencer Nayara Oliveira, who boasts 67,400 followers on Instagram.
The businessman was subject to a restraining order taken out by his former partner over four instances of domestic violence when they were together.
A CCTV camera caught the attack, which took place when the man tried to take their son, aged 1 year and 2 months, from a shopping centre without authorisation.
A friend of the influencer had left the toddler with him and he was informed that he was allowed an hour and a half with him.
He then reportedly flew into a rage and started insulting the woman before picking up his son and heading towards the exit.
The friend then notified the boy’s mother, who was working at a store in another part of the shopping centre.
She ran towards her ex as he was leaving the shopping centre and the footage shows how he kicks her while still holding their son in one arm.
He is then seen punching her several times before he grabs her by the neck and forces her to the ground.
The clip ends with passersby running over to the scene and eventually taking the child away and lifting the man off his ex-wife.
The victim reportedly suffered injuries to her neck and back and was taken to A&E. Her ex was taken to the Joao Pinheiro I Prison, where he remained as of Monday (6th December).
The Civil Police (Brazil’s investigative police force) investigation is reportedly concluded.
The victim took to Instagram on Tuesday to tell her followers: “I would like to thank all the expressions of affection I’ve received over the past few days and the support I’ve received.”
