This is the moment a burly dad dumps his toddler son on the floor and kicks him hard up his backside before becoming embroiled in a row with a passerby who saw the incident.

The incident was filmed by a CCTV camera in a shopping centre in the district of Balcova in the western Turkish province of Izmir at around 9pm and later uploaded to social media.

In the footage, a burly man, believed to be the toddler’s dad, is seen dumping the youngster on the floor.

In the same moment, a male shopper in a blue top is seen passing by.

As the poor tot tries to stand up, the heavyset man kicks him hard up his bum and sends him crashing to the floor face-first.

The man in the blue top immediately turns around and then watches as the burly man yanks the boy’s arms and appears to tell him off.

As the presumed dad picks up the tot, the male shopper comes over to confront him.

The man then gives the toddler a kiss before exchanging words with the shopper again.

At one point, the burly man is seen pushing the shopper away before they go about their business.

Reports said that several witnesses informed the shopping centre’s security about the incident and an official confronted the man who promptly left the building.

Outraged netizens have also called on the local authorities to investigate him after the footage was widely shared on social media, according to reports.

It is unclear whether the authorities are investigating the incident.
