This is the movie-style moment a brave Russian cop hangs out of a car driven by a 16-year-old boy as he allegedly tries to speed away while drunk before the officer and a colleague cuff the teen on the car boot.
The incident was filmed in the city of Yoshkar-Ola, capital of the Mari El Republic in western Russia, after the officers noticed a car turning dangerously in the middle of the icy road.
In the police dash-cam footage, the car is seen stopping at the roadside after the cops summoned the driver to pull over.
An officer, identified as Andrey Ivanov, then approaches the vehicle, but the teen driver allegedly tries to speed away.
The brave cop manages to open the door and hangs half-in as the car accelerates along the icy road.
He then enters the vehicle and forces the speeding driver to stop before forcibly removing him from the car.
The two cops are then seen cuffing the boy on the boot of the car.
According to local media, the driver turned out to be a 16-year-old local resident who was allegedly drunk and two years too young to own a licence in Russia.
Reports said the teen is known to the local authorities for alcohol-related issues in the past.
Meanwhile, Ivanov, who only joined the police force several months ago, has reportedly been praised by his superiors for his brave actions.
