This is the moment young boy is seen standing up through the sunroof of a BMW as it drives down a motorway at night.
The incident was filmed on the Buenos Aires-La Plata motorway in the eastern Argentine province of Buenos Aires, and the footage was later widely shared on social media.
In the footage, a young boy is seen poking out of the sunroof as the car speeds along the busy motorway.
A woman in the car behind is heard saying: “The boy is looking right at the camera. They are driving at least at 84 kilometres per hour.”
A man is then heard saying: “This is ridiculous, I swear to you he is getting on my nerves.”
The plate number ‘AA 404 XK’ is seen in the video.
Rules in Argentina state that all vehicle occupants must wear a fastened seat belt at all times.
Meanwhile, minor must use a child seat in accordance with their weight and height.
It is currently unclear if the local authorities are investigating the car owner.
