This is the moment an angry Russian woman smashes up a pharmacy and attacks a worker because they would not give her a refund.

The incident took place on International Women’s Day on 8th March in the city of Irkutsk in the southern Russian region of Irkutsk Oblast and was filmed by a pharmacy worker.

In the footage, the angry shopper is seen shouting at the staff member before pushing over the counter and continuing to smash up the pharmacy.

She shouts: “Leave me alone, get out of my life. I will get you all fired from here.”

At one point she appears to attack the filming worker.

According to the unnamed worker, the woman asked for a refund for medication she bought earlier.

When the employee tried to explain that drugs are non-refundable for legal reasons, the customer grew angry, smashed up the shop’s furniture and hit her in the chest.

Meanwhile, the police have confirmed that they are aware of the incident and have opened an investigation to track down the unidentified shopper.

Netizen ‘Zulfia Yakshigulova’ said: “This woman is a true nutcase.”

‘Mikhail Kuznetsov’ commented: “Drug prices are so incredibly high there is nothing else to do but have a breakdown when you won’t give you a refund!”

‘Nadezhda Malykhina’ wrote: “I understand where the woman is coming from, massive drugs prices can definitely make you go crazy! Although, it is well over the top.”
