Moment Angry Farmer Rams Mans Car With Digger After Road Row

This is the moment an angry farmer rams a car with his excavator after the driver dug a ditch to improve drainage following a recent flash flood.

The incident took place on an oil palm plantation near the town of Kampung Gajah in the Malaysian state of Perak earlier this month.

According to local reports, three men have been detained following the release of the footage, which has been viewed nearly half a million times on Facebook.

Police chief Ahmad Adnan Basri stated that the three detainees are between 47 and 28 and years old, and were detained after a 24-year-old resident complained that he and his father had been attacked.

According to reports, the 24 year old and the fatherhood dug a makeshift ditch on their land alongside the road after flash floods hit the region on 6th October.

The landowner said he had every right to set up the ditch, but still received a call from a local who was displeased with the new hole, which he claimed took up some of the road and blocked access for other farmers in the area who need to reach their plantations.

The landowner reportedly told the man that he would set up a new drainage system in the coming days, but it failed to satisfy the complainant.

Later that day, the land owner arrived home and found that several people had filled his ditch and a row promptly ensued.

The police chief said the angry man hit the land owner on his neck before using a digger to ram his vehicle.

Basri continued: “The excavator driver also tried to chase the complainant’s father with a hammer and caused fear to the complainant and his father during the incident.”

The police also said the three detainees, including the excavator driver, do not have a prior criminal record.

A request to have the suspects detained on remand was sent to the Teluk Intan Magistrate’s Court on 10th October.
