A mother begged robbers not to kill her and her three children as thieves hit her in the head with a gun asking where the money was during a home Invasion.
The violent crime happened when the mother and children were getting ready to sleep. Thieves jumped over a front yard fence and forced their way into a home through the back door of her home in Spring, Texas, on 7th February.
The mother instantly took her three children, ages seven, nine, and 13, and tried to hide in a bedroom on the second floor of the house, but one of the three suspects caught her and hit her in the head with the gun.
While two of the thieves searched the house and one held her at gunpoint, the terrified mother begged them not to kill her and her children: “I was just begging him, ‘please don’t kill us. Please don’t kill us. You can take whatever you want, just don’t kill us”.
The suspects left the room to look for money throughout the house, leaving the mother and her children alone.
That is when the mother and children were able to flee out the front door and into the street, where police had already arrived after being alerted by the victims’ neighbours.
A police perimeter was established, and Constable K9 “Rambo” Tom Ramsey successfully arrested two of the three perpetrators. They were identified as Roberto Loredo and Jorge Saker.
According to Mark Herman of Harris County Precinct 4, both individuals were on bond: “Jorge Saker was determined to be out on a $100.00 bond for Driving While Intoxicated and Roberto Loredo was out on a $2,500.00 bond for Burglary of a Habitation.”
According to the police report, Roberto Loredo was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for dog bite injuries.
“When he is freed, he will be put into the Harris County Jail. The search for the third suspect is still ongoing.
“Jorge Saker and Roberto Loredo have been charged with Burglary with Intent to Commit Aggravated Assault, Evading on Foot, Felon in Possession of a Weapon, and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Their bond and court date have yet to be determined.”
