This is the moment a girl filmed trying on footwear belonging to another family suddenly realises she is on camera.
And her embarrassment is no doubt even more complete after the owner of the shoes posted the footage online following a spate of thefts in the area of Tech Whye, in the residential town of Choa Chu Kang located in the western region of Singapore.
The footage shows the two girls walking along an external balcony corridor where they come across a shoe rack pact with the families footwear.

They then cheekily squat down and take shoes from the rack as if they are shopping, comparing them with their own feet before suddenly getting startled, and dashing off.
But one of the girls later comes back, where she casually looks around to make sure she is not being observed before suddenly spotting the camera – and covering her face in order to make a dash for it.
But the footage had already been stored, and it was then posted on Facebook by the user Nur Ashiqin Muhammad Kyaizam.
She said she had decided to act after a spate of shoe thefts around the city which locals describe as out of character for the city state.
She wrote online: “Happened on Saturday night, these 2 brave young ladies seems to be brazenly choosing which lucky shoes and flip flops they would like for their Cinderella journey to prison. Well take your time to choose. Help me spread the words.”
The footage has reportedly been handed to police but also attracted the amusement of netizens at the girls incompetence.
One wrote to Facebook user Nur saying: “Maybe they think the [annual Great Singapore Sale] is held at your house.”
While another wrote: “Someone thinks this is a warehouse sale.”
