This is the moment an Argentine model and TV star’s eight-year-old son is filmed driving a jeep sparking outrage among netizens.
Dolores Barreiro, 44, is on summer holiday in her native Argentina and she has been staying on the coast with her family and friends, according to reports.
The model and TV presenter has been sharing images of her holiday on Instagram where she boasts 231,000 followers, but she reportedly deleted a clip of her young son driving a side-by-side, also called a utility terrain vehicle (UTV), following an online backlash.
Local media reported that there was at least one other child in the car.
After reportedly deleting the video, Barreiro has yet to comment on the matter.
It is also unclear whether the local authorities will investigate the incident.
Netizen ‘Nestor Antonio Secco’ commented: “The fact that she is beautiful and famous has nothing to do with the fact that she is also stupid.”
‘Heny Urena’ said: “This woman’s head is filled with water not a brain! See her kid driving is scary and there is another child there without any safety gear on!”
Barreiro’s modelling career began in 1993 when she won a contest organised by the Dimension Top Model agency.
In 1995 she was named model of the year by Argentine media before launching a TV career two years later on the show ‘El Rayo’ (‘The Lightning Strike’).
