One of the Ukrainian models involved in the nude photo shoot in Dubai claim she was raped afterwards by a man who told her she wasn’t worth being treated any differently.
She said that the man had seemed very pleasant when they had first met and had not revealed that he was married with a child.
The model, Natalia Chuprina, whose age was not given, said that after being deported from Dubai she had returned returned to her home in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro where she met the unidentified man.
Once in his house however, he had become violent and abusive and started to criticise her over what had gone on in the UAE, and had also insulted her over her work as a model, and in particular the nude pictures.
In an interview with Dnipro TV, which was posted on Youtube on 19th May, Natalia said, “He started criticizing me, saying that I was doing the wrong thing, that it was wrong. After that, I decided that I wanted to go home. But I was beaten and raped. He treated me as if I was worthless.”
Natalia claims that the alleged attacker did not let her go home even after the attack and violently restrained her, also taking away her telephone so she could not call for help.
She said that when she saw the opportunity, she managed to run out of the house and started screaming for help, and when the man had been unable to drag her back inside, he had instead opened the gates and set her free. Outside she had met a man who helped the distressed young woman to return home.
She said: “It was scary, I didn’t understand why all this was happening, why did he do it? He acted as if it really brings some pleasure, he was like a real maniac.”
It is unclear whether Natalia complained about the man after what happened to authorities, or whether a police investigation on the matter has begun.
