This is the moment the operator of a mini digger skilfully manoeuvres his vehicle to chase off a local who had tried to punch him through the window.

The incident was filmed in the city of Nizhnevartovsk in the central Russian region of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug while the digger operator was clearing snow from the streets.

According to local media, the unnamed resident complained to workers that they had not cleared the snow sufficiently for him to drive his car out.

After being shouted at, the digger operator reportedly dumped piles of snow in front of the man’s car.

In the video, the resident is seen reacting angrily to the snow being dumped in front of his car and he appears to punch the operator through the small window.

The digger operator then responds by turning the vehicle to face the man before driving at him with the raised loader bucket, forcing him to run away.

Local media said no one was injured in the confrontation, and it is unclear whether the local authorities are investigating the incident.

Netizen ‘Giuzel Aguzuarova’ said: ‘What if he hurt that man with the front bucket? It would not need much to cause a serious injury. No common sense.”

‘Inga Demina’ commented: “Bravo! Someone is probably going to be fired, but anyway, it’s a huge video!”
