A train then begins pulling onto the side of the camera and a passenger stands up and begins walking towards the tracks.

The unnamed passenger is staring at his mobile phone and does not stop, walking straight off the platform and onto the tracks in front of the oncoming trains.

Madrid Metro said that nothing serious happened to the passenger who is reportedly fine after the incident, but they shared the footage to remind customers not to be distracted by their mobile phones.

Central European News (CEN) contacted Metro Madrid for comment as to whether it passed over them or stopped before but they had not replied at the time of writing.
