This is the touching moment Lionel Messi and his two-year-old son work out together in coronavirus isolation.
Barcelona superstar Messi’s wife Antonella Roccuzzo, 32, filmed the pair in a workout session with their son Ciro, 2.
The video shows the moment Ciro is seen laying on a red yoga mat as Roccuzzo says: “Let’s see how you do abdominals.”
Ciro performs a lying hip raise as Messi, 32, can be heard speaking off-camera saying: “Come on. One, two, three, four…” and continues to count for young Ciro as he performs the exercises and smiles.
Upon finishing, Ciro stands up and says “daddy, it’s your turn daddy.” Messi appears on-camera and walks to the mat to do his set and tells Ciro “you count.”
Ciro starts counting out of sync with Messi’s repetitions. The two-year-old counts to three before walking to Messi saying “done” and gives him an enthusiastic high-five.
The video was praised by fans as netizens took to social media to comment with ‘lorenameritanooficial’ simply saying: “Beautiful.”

The video has become viral with 6,731,407 views after just 14 hours after it was posted online.
Barcelona have not trained since Spain issued a nation-wide lockdown to stop the spread of COVID-19 however the club gave workout plans for players to follow in their homes.
According to the latest figures from the Johns Hopkins University Spain has reported 104,118 confirmed cases of COVID-19 leading to 9,387 deaths.
