Meet the curvy TV presenter who is threatening Yanet Garcia’s crown as the world’s hottest weather girl.
Glamorous TV star Mayte Carranco, 34, hosts the weather on Forum TV in her native Mexico where Garcia also plies her trade.
Local media said that the curvy Mexican is being compared to Garcia after seeing her Instagram presence explode to over 650,000 followers in a short space of time.
Garcia, who boasts an incredible 11.5 million followers, made her name through regular social media posts showing off her figure in the gym or out and about in figure-hugging gowns.
Carranco enjoys sharing similar sexy snaps alongside fashion posts, inspirational messages and famous positive quotes.
The former Miss Televisa Monterrey beauty queen also considers herself to be a singer and she recently told local media that her mum has been encouraging her to perform on stage since she was four years old.
The singer and weather girl has also modelled in various publications including M Magazine.
According to local media, Carranco has been receiving offers to appear in TV ads since her meteoric rise to stardom as a weather girl.
She said: “I was told about the weather girl role and went for my audition, two weeks later and I was on air!”
