This is the former beauty queen doctor who is currently battling COVID-19 on the frontlines and donating food to the poor in her spare time.
Beautiful medic Dr Nisha Thayananthan, whose Twitter profile lists her as Miss World Malaysia 2019 (Top 6), Miss World Peace Malaysia 2016 and Miss City Tourism Malaysia 2016, is based at Putrajaya Hospital in the city of Putrajaya just south of the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur.
As well as battling COVID-19 on the frontlines, the glamorous doctor has been travelling between different locations in Kuala Lumpur and Seremban, where she is originally from, to deliver food and aid to poor people affected by the virus.

The former beauty queen told local media: “I was taught to give more than to receive… especially to those less fortunate. My parents are my biggest inspiration.
“I still remember the times when I was little girl, my dad used to take us to villages to distribute groceries to the underprivileged.
“I have been a part of the humanitarian mission for quite some time now. Along this journey, I’ve come across people who are suffering… especially during the ongoing movement control order (MCO) to contain COVID-19.”
Dr. Nisha Thayananthan, a frontliner at the Putrajaya Hospital, said that people have been contacting her for help since the outbreak started.
She said: “Most of the times I use my own money to help these people and often use my days off by engaging in charity.”
The beautiful doctor, whose mother runs a retirement home as well as a shelter for abandoned animals, added: “During this crisis, my colleagues have made heartbreaking sacrifices to save lives, by working day and night, staying away from their loved ones to deliver care to those affected.
“As a doctor, I want everyone to be vigilant and to stay home during this pandemic as we are working hard to eradicate COVID-19.”
