MEAT THE APES: Woman Discovers Orangutan Faces When She Cuts Chunk Of Meat In Half

A woman who cut a chunk of meat in half was amazed when she saw what she claimed were two orangutan faces looking back at her.

The strange incident happened when the cooking woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, bought a pig’s tongue in the city of Changchun, in the Chinese province of Jilin.

In the video, the two pieces of what looks to be meat can be seen showing strange faces. The eyes, noses and a slight smile can be seen on the pieces that netizens agreed looked just like orangutans.

According to reports, the woman had bought the pig’s tongue from a market and after she went home, she put it in a pot and cooked it.

When she took it out and cut it into two pieces, she was stunned to see two orangutan faces, that she described as a male and a female, looking back at her.

Pork Tongue is a popular dish in China that after being cooked in boiling water is sliced into chunks for consumption. Usually, it is then added to a rich gravy with vegetables but before that could happen – on this occasion the woman noticed the images when she cut it in half.

The video gained a lot of comments on the social network Douyin, which is what TikTok is called in China, such as netizen ‘Tino inkjet’ who joked: “If you cut it thinner, you can cut out a group of monkeys.”

While ‘fishing gods list’ wrote: “Wow, gorilla meat!”

And ‘21009901040’ commented: “Which one is male and which is female? How do you tell?”
